CNC Milling

CNC machining is our core strength, and we are able to provide fast lead times and adequate engineering support. We can manufacture complex tooling, functional prototypes and final products for a wide range of industry applications. We machine different engineering grades of metals and plastics to produce quality custom CNC machined parts or CNC assemblies that meet specifications and are delivered on demand.

What is CNC machining?

What is CNC machining?

CNC machining is a typical subtractive manufacturing process that shapes workpieces by removing excess material from a blank using rotating cutting tools. Leveraging advanced CNC equipment and stable, mature production capabilities, we can deliver a wide range of custom-machined products on time and with precision. Combined with Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) technology, we have significantly expanded the scope of machining for complex workpieces, unlocking diverse production solutions. Utilizing intelligent programming technology, we simulate machining trajectories and optimize toolpaths in advance, balancing efficient production with precision craftsmanship. Whether for standard simple parts or structurally complex high-precision workpieces, Xinling will tailor the optimal machining solution based on product requirements and budget constraints, ensuring a stable supply of high-quality CNC precision machined parts.

We offer 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling equipment and are able to maintain extremely tight tolerances and short lead times. In CNC milling, tolerance control directly determines the assembly accuracy and overall performance of parts, and the precision standards vary depending on the machining method.General tolerances for conventional 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling are typically controlled within ±0.1 mm, while high-precision 5-axis machining can achieve ±0.05 mm, making it more suitable for the production of complex structural components and high-precision parts. For small parts with stringent dimensional requirements, the minimum machining dimensions can reach 5 × 5 × 5 mm, meeting the strict demands of the medical device, electronics, and precision machinery industries.Fast turnaround is another key advantage of CNC machining; simple parts can be delivered as quickly as within one day, and most projects can be completed within five business days.

We offer a variety of surface finishing options In terms of surface finish, the as-machined condition after CNC milling is typically expressed as a Ra value, with a standard range of Ra 3.2–1.6 μm, which meets the basic requirements for most mechanical parts. If customers have higher requirements for appearance, corrosion resistance, or wear resistance, these can be further optimized through various surface treatment processes, such as polishing, sandblasting, anodizing, electroplating, passivation, and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition).Polishing enhances surface brightness and smoothness; sandblasting creates a uniform, fine matte finish; electroplating enhances wear resistance and rust prevention by depositing a metal coating; and passivation is particularly suitable for corrosion protection of stainless steel parts.

Surface Treatment MethodsPrimary FunctionSuitable Materials

AnodizingImproves hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistanceAluminum alloy
ElectroplatingRust and oxidation protection; improved electrical conductivitySteel, Copper, Aluminum
PassivationImproves corrosion resistanceStainless steel
PVD treatmentImproves hardness and wear resistancePrecision Hardware Components

For aluminum alloy parts, anodizing is the most common and effective treatment method. Standard anodizing (Type II) offers a variety of color options, including natural, black, red, blue, green, and gold, making it more suitable for cosmetic components; whereas hard anodizing (Type III) is typically black or gray, featuring higher surface hardness and superior wear resistance, making it more suitable for industrial machinery and high-load parts.By carefully controlling manufacturing tolerances and combining them with appropriate surface treatment processes, we can not only significantly improve product quality but also extend the service life of parts, delivering higher production efficiency and more reliable performance to our customers.
